Wed, Nov 4, 2020 - 1:00 PM PACIFIC TIME - Nov 4 - Cybersecurity CMMC Update All DoD contractors will have to be compliant to one of five levels in the CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) model; this will be a Federal Contract Requirement. This includes all companies in the defense supply chain, to include primes and subcontractors. At Level-1, the basic level, there are seventeen controls that will have to meet, with the focus on protecting Federal Contract Information (FCI). This regulation will apply equally to all companies to include construction, maintenance, engineering, and services. The level of compliance is determined by the type of information a company will possess or will produce as a result of a contract; it is not determined by the size of a company. This webinar will focus on the CMMC model and how to cover the Level controls. It is important to understand that meeting these compliance requirements is basic IT best practices. It does not matter if you move earth for construction, deliver supplies, provide gardening and maintenance services, or machine parts for aircraft your company will have to comply to one of the five levels of the CMMC. DMA provides DoD information through the web supporting DoD open government. Content is authorized for release and then posted to public websites. DMA currently hosts approximately 1,000 public-facing web sites for the Military Departments, Joint Staff and Combatant Commands, and Department of Defense Agencies and DoD Field Activities, including Defense.gov. A list of our customers is here: https://www.dma.mil/Services/DODPublic- Web/ Concurrently, DMA maintains and manages a Digital Asset Management (DAM) System that is access-controlled for the upload of media (still image, video, audio and graphics) with associated user-provided metadata. Users (access-controlled) submit metadata and can change the metadata of uploaded media, also known as digital assets. An overview of the required services, objectives and intended outcome is provided below. The FHWA Office of Acquisition and Grants Management contemplates award of a contract to accomplish the work described herein. The results of this sources sought/market research will assist to identify potential offerors having an interest in and the resources with the necessary capability and experience to accomplish the work and contribute to determining the method of procurement. This sources sought/market research will evaluate only the prime contractor or lead firm that submit a response. Scope: The U.S. has invested billions of dollars in building our existing transportation infrastructure. When these facilities are congested, the efficient movement of people and goods is disrupted, causing impacts to the economy and quality of life. Facilities need to be operated well so that we use them efficiently and effectively to maximize the value of these investments. The TSMO R&T Program helps State and local agencies, and other partners, do that. The Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (P.L. 112-141), under Section 1103(a)(30)(A) defined Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) as an integrated set of strategies to optimize the performance of existing infrastructure through the implementation of multimodal and intermodal, cross-jurisdictional systems, services, and projects designed to preserve capacity and improve security, safety, and reliability of the transportation system.
