Fri, Jan 11, 2019 - 10:00 AM PACIFIC TIME - Jan 11 - United States Marine Corps Source Sought Webinar for Cloud Migration Services BIDSPEED is providing a short, hands-on, interactive workshop that will break down a specific opportunity and help you form a response to a Sources Sought notification. If your company supports NAICS: 541512 - Computer Systems Design Services. Scope of Effort: To migrate a portfolio of applications hosted within on-premises data centers to a commercial cloud environment. The solution should include a framework for discovery and rationalization of applications. The rationalization framework should include methodologies, technical requirements, assessments, and processes to determine an application's suitability for cloud hosting; to include cost estimates for re-factoring, re-hosting, re-platforming, or re-purchasing as necessary. The solution should identify current technologies for enabling automation and gaining efficiency within the migration process. Background of Effort: The current roadmap for the Marine Corps migration to a cloud environment includes the closure of multiple on premises data centers that support multiple portfolios of applications. In order for the Marine Corps to realize the cost and operational benefits of cloud computing, it must conduct a migration that appropriately rationalizes a portfolio. In preparation for migrating a portfolio, functional area managers must develop roadmaps for applications that identify the cost and timeline associated with refactoring applications Response Template: Response templates will be made available at Bidspeed - http://register.fedbidspeed.com for companies that plan to participate.
