The Department of the Interior, Office of Inspector General (DOI OIG) is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide commercial software and technical intranet development skills to create an intranet site. Information from the current intranet site will have to be replicated onto the new site. The intranet site must be 508 compliant. The current 2010 Sharepoint based intranet site has a homepage with a slider of news articles, employee blogs, recent activity postings, policy memorandums, links, and team and collaborative sites. In addition, there are 8 tabs on the homepage linking to an additional 90 pages and approximately 250 employee profile pages. There are search and tagging features and an ability to link to outside sites and helpdesks. All information for the intranet site would be required to be handled in a safe and secure manner including maintaining all imposed restrictions for computer access, security provisions, document safeguards, and to be maintained with proper handling procedures including post-performance provisions restricting divulging sensitive/secure information. Compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (the Common Identification Standard for Federal Employees and Contractors), commonly known as HSPD-12, would be required.
