The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is contemplating establishing a contract for Maintenance and Project Management support of Development Application System (DAP). The Development Application Processing (DAP) system is an integral part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development�s (HUD) administration of the Federal Housing Administration�s (FHA�s) Office of Multifamily Housing (MFH) and Office of Insured Health Care Facilities� (OIHCF) loan insurance programs; Section 202 (housing for elderly households) Capital Advance program; and Section 811 (housing for the disabled) Capital Advance program. DAP supports the process of accepting, underwriting, and closing MFH and OIHCF insured loans and 202/811 Capital Advance grants from pre-application through final close. DAP performs two major functional processes. The first is underwriting FHA insurance for multifamily housing loans and Capital Advance grants. The second is tracking loan lifecycle data.
