Background/Scope: This notice calls for the vendor to provide all administrative, management, supervision, labor, and other supplies/services. Tasks/supplies to be performed/provided shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Provide Medical Program Oversight for SOG medics. Provide Medical Program Oversight for first responder EMTs (Basic, Intermediate, & Paramedics). Provide an Emergency Medicine Physician on-site for the first five (5) days of the annual SOG Selection in Pineville, Louisiana. Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee the USMS electronic patient care record and reporting system. Work with the USMS to develop, maintain, and oversee agency-wide treatment protocols. On an as-needed basis, provide written pre-deployment medical briefings and advanced medical threat assessments. Attendance at scheduled meetings (approximately 6-8 per year). Meetings will be used for contract planning purposes and to review treatment protocols Provide an Emergency Medicine Physician 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week, for real-time, on-line medical consultation services, Conduct 40-hour Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) refresher classes (estimated at approximately 40-50 students for each class) per year that meet the 24-hour (NREMT) requirements. Provide indoor and outdoor facilities and space for dynamic tactical medicine scenarios instruction The contractor shall provide a physician trained in tactical medicine to travel domestically and/or internationally for operational support, as needed, approximately 6 days per year.
