BACKGROUND: The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, is one (1) of 27 research institutes and centers that comprise the National Institutes of Health (NIH), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The mission of the NIEHS is to discover how the environment affects people in order to promote healthier lives. The Branches & Laboratories at NIEHS fall under the Intramural Research and the National Toxicology Program (NTP) Divisions. The Office of Management (OM) supports the NIEHS and NTP scientific missions by providing a broad range of management services, logistics and infrastructure. The Administrative Services and Analysis Branch (ASAB) falls under the OM which plans and provides management support, supply and property management, office services, employee wellness activities, conference services and audits, and much more. This requirement directly supports the implementation of the new NIH Enterprise Property Portal. The NIH-wide Property Portal will be a central point of access to data, documents, processes, and services relative to property available at NIH. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: The basic service objective is to provide technical supply/property support services to assist for the implementation of a new NIH Enterprise Property Portal. The Contractor shall also perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to property/supply activities. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: January 2, 2018 through April 30, 2018. ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE: The anticipated purchase order type will be firm fixed price.
